Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility
Open worldwide. Entrants must be 18+ and submit in their own name.
2. Entry Requirements
Entries must be original, non-AI-generated, and unpublished (including blogs/social). By entering, you confirm you hold full rights to the work.
3. Submission
Entries must follow the stated theme, word count, and deadline. Late or non-compliant entries may be disqualified at our discretion.
4. Judging & Selection
All entries are judged by the editorial team. Decisions are final. No correspondence will be entered into.
5. Prizes
Prizes are as stated. No cash alternatives unless specified. We reserve the right to substitute prizes if necessary.
6. Publication Rights
Winning and shortlisted entries may be published by Intrepid Times. Entrants grant us first publication rights and a non-exclusive licence to publish and promote the work. Copyright remains with the author.
7. Editing
We reserve the right to edit entries for clarity, style, and length prior to publication.
8. Liability
We are not responsible for lost, late, or corrupted entries. We accept no liability for any loss arising from participation.
9. Disqualification
We reserve the right to disqualify entries that breach these terms, including plagiarism, AI-generated content, or rights violations.
10. Changes & Cancellation
We may amend these terms or cancel the competition at any time if required.
11. Acceptance
Entry constitutes acceptance of these terms.
