Registration is open!Secure your space now and you’ll receive an invitation to a private WhatsApp group where travel writers of all levels gather to workshop, share tips and contacts, and support each other. Spaces in ‘Your First Published Article’ are strictly limited, so don’t delay to secure your spot! - Sunday, August 10, 12 PM New York, 5 PM London: Begin with a small-group intensive workshop.
We begin with a small-group workshop where Nathan James Thomas, Editor in Chief of Intrepid Times and a published travel author will show you what it takes to craft a professional travel writing article and submission in 2025. Expect about 60 minutes of detailed, practical teaching with real-world examples, and 30 minutes for Q&A. Can’t make the live session? It will be recorded with detailed notes provided. - Monday, August 11 through to early October: Develop your story with personal feedback and support.
Brainstorming, writing, and feedback! Work with an editor from Intrepid Times to brainstorm ideas, sharpen your pitch, and start working towards your publishable travel story! During this time you will have access to fast and constructive on-demand feedback. We will answer your questions, help you find your strengths, and coach you to remove any obstacles to publication. - October: Celebrate, share your story, and get published in Intrepid Times.
Celebration and publication! We’ll gather for one last group meeting focused on answering any big picture questions about the travel writing career. We’ll also give the braver members of the group the option to share your complete travel story with your fellow writers. Starting from October, stories from group members will be published on Intrepid Times and shared with our community of thousands of travel writers around the world.
